Soaked!!!!!

So last Saturday Jay Matthew and I ventured up to Logan to watch a Utah State Football game. It was pretty dang fun I must say! It started raining 5 minutes into the game and never really stopped needless to say...... we were soaked! Jay and I even had a sleeping bad we were sitting on and had wrapped around us, which was nice until the water started seeping through! We drank some hot chocolate which warmed us up a little bit, but it was so cold, and we were literally soaked! After the game we went to Walmart so I could buy some sweat pants to ride home in, I refused to stay in my wet clothes! We then went to eat at The Beehive Grill, whose home brewed rootbeer i must say was lacking, my dad can make it better. None the less it was alot of fun! And their Buffalo Chicken Wings are DEVINE!!!!!!

More fun @ Nickle City

We just love nickle city it is true, the last time we went Jay and I kept winning big! We collected 1241 tickets..... WHAT?!?!?!

We both hit the Jack-pot on the wheel of fortune game, and most of the price is right games, little did I know there actually is a point to some of those nickle sucking games!

We had just enough tickets to get 2 new friends.......

Please meet Penny and Daryl

Aren't they cute!!!!!

My best kept secret...

I have never in my life been good at keeping secrets, but for the past few months I have surprised myself! You see the rules are a little different when you are dating someone you work with, and for a whole month no one even knew we were seeing eachother on the side, and it took a couple more months before the VP spotted us out on the town together. But now that the cat is out of the bag, I feel free to BLOG about the goings on! So here it is folks..... The long awaited posts you didn't even know you were waiting for!!!!!

Bidding Summer A'due

This summer has been really wonderful! I went on a sister's trip to AZ, my best friends and I went to the fantabulous BSB concert, and I spent more time at the golf-course then I ever have and probably ever will again(and no I did not take up golfing, I was flirting with the water-boy).

Last week was Jam packed with fun activities we ate at...... Panda, 5 guys, Cafe Rio, and Chillies, we had desserts at.......................SubZero and  the Snow Cone Place by Reams..........

We went swimming at the Branbury.... and moved Jay out. I will miss that apartment with all it's red lights and black mold in shower. We had alot of great memories there!!!

Wednesday night we went to NICKLE CITY, WOW so much fun!!!!! I always find myself wasting handfulls of coins just dropping them in and hoping to have the coin that pushes the others over the edge.... I love that game and that is exactly why I could never go to Vegas!!! We also played a few rounds of "Deal or No Deal" and I just have to let it be know that I had a chance at 108 tickets, but said NO DEAL, I guess I just got a little greedy and in the end I only got 16 tickets. We did make it out of there with quite the loot.................

Meet Kevin (it's a girl), and Jay's Whistle
Friday we went Camping..... man I haven't done that in awhile!
we had a fire, at some hot dogs and S'mores (my fav, with reese's peanut butter cups)
just the usual camping activities:) It was pretty fun!

We finished the week with THE DEMOLITION DERBY!!!!!
It of course was Jay's first time, probably his first time inside a Rodeo Arena, I invited Dan and Lyss too and I think everyone loved it!
Nothing like crunchin some metal!

Landon must have been lovin it, he couldn't even say cheese for the picture!

A'DUE SUMMER 2010 YOU SURE TREATED ME WELL

Inception!

7-16-10
First of all I have to say, It was an AMAZING movie! I loved it, and I will buy the Blu-Ray DVD Digital Copy combo when it comes out! So we went the evening of the Friday it came out, we waited in line for a bit before we went in to get our seats.
As we are sitting there this girl comes up and says "Are you guys waiting in-line for Inception, this is Crazy, I have never done this before you people are crazy! I can't believe I am doing this" Jay's friend Matt then said "We don't want your here" and I said "put a cork in it!" Unfortunatley neither one of us spoke loud enough for her to hear or things might have gotten interesting..... HAHA. (Jay did say he would have had to let her get one hit in (because I would have deserved it) and then he would defend me! unbelievable.... haha)

A Secret Post

May 15th 2010 : That is when it all started you see. It began when he picked me up to go see Robin Hood. We were going to a Matinee and I couldn't help but wonder if that was so he could go to the movie with me and then still have his evening open. (Since we were just going as 'friends'...... ya know) Anywho he picked me up at my sisters house and off we went. After the movie he suggested that we go get some ice cream, (I am ALWAYS game for some ice cream) So we got our ice cream and he suggested that we go play some Guitar Hero at his apartment. Where he smacked me in the face with a guitar, completely accidental I just wanted to throw that tid-bit in there. So we played some songs and then he had to go see if he had to work, so I drove with him (up the Canyon to the Golf-Course) to find he had the night off, so we continued the evening making S'mores. After the Smo's we drove up the Canyon a little ways to this old abandoned house.  Let me just say that the stars up there were indescribable, I loved it so much! While we were there he put his arm around me, but I still wouldn't have guess the night would end as it did. As we drove down the canyon he told me I could sit in the middle by him (we were in a truck) so I slid over, and  he put his arm around me. We talked about the day and I asked him if I needed to pay him back for the ticket, and he said no. niether one of us was sure if it was a date or not til that moment. We pulled up to my sister's and I decided to give him a hug and hop out, but he tried to kiss me! I sorta gave him the shaft, at first.................... :)

A Weekend of Fun

8-9-10
I must say it was a very eventful fun and exciting weekend. I went swimming at the Branbury a few times, (where I learned how to do a canon ball thanks to a very patient instructer who doesn't seem to mind to much that I can't swim... hehe) We did a little bowling, which was a lot of fun, my goal is to break 130 next time:) Then on Saturday I had a hot date, which started at Trafalga for some Mini Golf, Dippin Dots and Ski Ball which I kicked trash at!! (I only brag becuase it was my one and only big win for the weekend!) Then we rounded up the weekend with some AMAZING STAR GAZING..... Awwwww what a great weekend

EVERYBODY....... YEAH!!!!!

It seems like forever ago I was sitting there with the ticket confirmation paper in my hand

WOW!!! The BSB concert........ I can't think of words to do the experience justice!!!

We thought we were pretty cool cause we got wristbands:)

I can't tell you how long I have dreamed of being there when they sang
"Am I original" and be the one to sing back "YEAH!"
(and so on.........)
A dream come true!

It was so FUN to go to a concert with my Besties
(Marie and Lyss)
We were singing and dancing and jumping and yelling and throwing our hands up in the air like we didn't care,
 NO inhibitions there!
(We WERE SO CLOSE!!!! I swear I made eye contact with Nick!)
This was by FAR the best concert I have been to! I seriously felt like a little star struck 15 year old!The good news.......
I only kind of lost my voice, and I didn't start sobbing like the chick behind us :)

Dad Day

I made him a Banana Cream Pie for Dad Day. I think he liked it :)

Close Call...............

So at work the other day, I almost died! You are probably wondering how being a teller could possibly be so high risk, but let me remind you that the Credit Union is attached to a gas station! And we all know how probable a FREAK GASOLINE ACCIDENT IS.... (jk gotta love Zoolander!) Anywho the story is Jay looked out the window and what did he see.......... smoke like a thick fog, after he pointed out the sight
I said "IS SOMETHING ON FIRE???"  We all rushed over to the window and sure enough there was a TRUCK smokin and flamin right next to the gas station. MaryAnn told Jay to call 911 and the rest of us watched as they tried to extinquish the flames. Jay was on the phone and not saying anything so thinking that maybe he had just called the Spanish Fork Police I said  "Jay, did you dial 9-1-1" (cause it was an emergency) He looked at me like I was weird and then he hung up the phone and said they told him we needed to EVACUATE I really thought it might be the end, as I took my long walk outside to the retaining wall. Jay and I were the only ones out there for a few minutes, I guess the others didn't hear him say to evacute. Everyone eventually made it outside and we stood out there for a few minutes until the fire depo came then we ventured back inside. Once we got in the doors my Bro called me to make sure I was ok, he had drivin by and seen the scene and was sure I was freakin out..... He knows me all to well!

A Window into my Soul

I wrote this post back on 5/17/2010 I was hesitant about posting it, cause It was really late at night (or I guess you might say early in the morning) and I thought it sounded a little silly, but I rather just post it then let it sit as a draft. So here it is..........

So I must begin by saying that I have been traveling through a pretty crazy stage of life. Most of you who care enough about me to read this blog probably already know most of the details so I am not going to get into that. What I do want to say is that these past few months I have learned SO much about myself. I have done things the past few months I never thought I would be strong enough to do, but I did it. I have decided that being a Romantic is ok and I never want to loose that part of me. I have distanced myself from situations I have no control over and have found peace. I have re-discovered who my true friends are, I am happy to report that I have friends who will answer my calls even if it's been years or weeks and we can get together and it is like nothing changed. I have realized how special my siblings are to me, I am so grateful for their support and love in all that I do.

Dear People

Dear Graveyard worker at Wendy's
Did you seriously just take the order of the car in front of us and then as soon as we pull
up you clicked off the drive up????
REALLY?
It is 1:45am and your sign clearly states that you are open til 2am! I just wanted a Frosty!
Your loss I liked my MickeyD's Orange Dreamsicle shake better anyways.

Sista's in AZ

So a few weeks ago my sister's and I met up in AZ (at Ronda's) and spent a week together. Amy and I drove down with our Dad and her kids. It was a pretty good drive, I slept alot of the way because I had stayed up the night before pretty late.........(but that is another story ;) ). We went up to a cabin for a couple nights and let me tell you what that was an ADVENTURE! It was the girls and Austen and Adam, Dad and Aaron watched the other kidletts. The first night we didn't have any electricity so Traci (bless her heart) stoked a fire all night long!!!!! So the next morning we had to make breakfast in the fire pit, We would have done it over the grill but of course it was out of propane!

The good news is that the electricity was turned on that afternoon, the bad news the water then got shut off..... HAHAHA yeah we were roughin' it.  So that night we made some S'mores not over the fire mind you, in the oven....................................
Dear Joe,
Thanks for letting us stay in your Cabin! And sorry we used the banister for firewood, and excuse us for not flushing!

The ride home was a little cramped in the back seat, but Austen and I made the best of it.....

That cute little foot kicked me a lot!

Well after the Cabin Adventure we spent a couple days at Ronda's, Traci and I got to share a bed, it was fun to have a late night talk with my older sister! It felt like that  part in Pride and Prejudice (the Kiera Knightly version) after the ball where they are laying in bed talking about the gentlemen they just met. :)

Ronda took us to this cute store called Tilly's, I LOVE IT! I have even since ordered from them on-line. Thanks for the great store find Ronda! We also got to go to a school award program for Ben and a Piano recital for Sara, but the best part is there was lots of relaxin!
Aly and Aria with their Olive Fingers

More SMo's these were made in the toaster oven at Ronda's!

The ride back to UT was pretty good, except for that stretch of desert we drove through right after I drank 2/3's of a water bottle. I wonder when I will learn not to do that, I think they should just put port-potty's up every 30miles in area's like! It all worked out though as soon as it started coming out of my eyes we spotted a gas-station! Whew!!!

Love you Sista's I'm glad we got to get together!!!!

Dear Bikers in the middle of the street,
Don't you know that riding your Bike on the side of the road is a HAZARD!!! Please find a nice little trail to bike on, so that I don't have to swerve into oncoming traffic.
Thanks!

Check out that  GIGANTIC SPREE

Feliz Dia De Madre

So for Mother's Day I made some DELICIOUS MINT BROWNIES (my fav) and Amy Beth and I made some cupcakes using a marshmellow fondant recipe that she had found. It was really fun. We made up some treat plates, and delivered them.

I am very lucky to have some great examples in my life, that love me and mother me.
Namely.... My mom, My Sister's and Miss Debbie. Thank You for your constant love and support!

The Bee's Knees

That's Burt's Bees I'm talking about, I have been using their shampoo and
I LOVE IT:) It smells Divine and I absolutely love the Shine!!!

Dancin in Logan

So about a monthish ago I went with Diana to Logan to watch her cute little dancers at their competition. It was fun little road trip!!!  and for those of you who know us, yeah we made it directly to Logan no side-trips to Colorado or anything (thanks to the GPS)

I love silly road trip pics

So on our way home we were craving us some Iceberg. So we searched for an Iceberg in the gps, we got off the exit that it suggested. We drove to where it said it should be, we didn't see it so we kept driving.

We went a few blocks past and then decided to turn around and stop at the gas station that the GPS had said was the Iceberg, (we also really neede to piddle)
So we walked in and asked the cashier guy if there was an Iceberg around he said "Not that I know of" so we started to walk away from him, and then he said
"Oh this used to be an Iceberg"
HAHAHA it was so funny I almost wet my pants!!

As we left Diana pointed out that right about where we parked was an indentation of where the Iceberg sign had been

Ornithophobia

I am an Ornithophobic.....

The other day I was driving down the road just minding my own business and there were 3 birds in the middle of the road, I tried to slow down and they didn't move so I tried to go around them, and they starting freaking out and flying all around my car and towards the windsheild and under my car.
It was so CREEPY I started screaming and laughing.

Since that encounter it seems as though there are a ton of birds everywhere,
CONSTANTLY FLYLING AT ME!!!

Happy Reester

Well it was a fun and exciting Easter weekend. We dyed some easter eggs with the kidlets, Amy bought some cute kits, our favorite was the monster kit!  After the eggs were dyed we handed a nice orange egg to Andrew for him to stick some stickers on. He took the egg and smacked it really hard on the counter 3 times! So Hilarious!
I made some pretty awesome eggs, a couple monsters, a "Kiss me I'm Irish" egg, and a RockStar!
After the Eggs were dyed and the kids were in bed I got to help the Easter Bunny, I stuffed eggs and hid them around the living room. It was really fun to be on that end of the festivities too!

Much to my surprise the Easter Bunny left me a basket too! There was some DELICIOUS "Cold Stone - JellyBelly's", "Cinnabon" Chapstick, Banana Bubbles, and some candy!

Due to the Eastering and Conferencing Amy made some YUMMY YUMMY breakfasts. One morning we had German Pancakes, and the next we had homemade McMuffins. Talking about delicious foods...... we had Sunday dinner over at Tom and Charlie's. I love Easter Dinner, nothing like some Potatoe'sgonerotten and Ham!

It would have been the perfect weekend, if there had been any Spring Flowers to look at :( oh well it was a beautiful snow!!!

A hobby.....

I really need some sort of time consuming hobby!!!!!!! Something I can do and feel good and be happy!!!

*Maybe I could try hiking..... but I am a little out of shape and I would need a hiking buddy!

*I do like to sew, but that is kind a one woman activity and sometimes can be frustrating.

*Reading??? Again another boring one woman activity!

Maybe I need less of a hobby and more of a trusty Sidekick..... Yes that is what I need a trusty sidekick!

Birthday, St. George, Valentines

The BIG 21st Birthday :) The Celebration began on Friday when we got lunch from Wingers at work. They also gave me balloons and flowers, It was really nice. Then the big day began with waffles at Amy's house.

YUMMY!! Tyson showered me with gifts all throughout the day, The first gift was a Snow Patrol CD, and a reciept for the tickets he purchased for "The Importance of Being Earnest" at the Hale Center Theatre:) Throughout the day I opened a One Republic CD two seasons of FRIENDS and a whole lotta lipgloss! Oh and I mustn't forget that my Mom gave me the "World Wide Ward Chirstmas Cookbook" Hooray for Recipe Books! Then that evening we went to Winger's for dinner (I just had a hankerin for Asphalt Pie) and then to the play. It was so much fun, just as good as the movie!

Then it was off to St. George. My dad and I drove down Sunday night at about 6 o'clock. I drove the first 100 miles and then we hit a crazy snow storm, so my dad took over the driving from there. Once we got there I enjoyed lots of sleeping, lounging around, SHOPPING and a little bit of hot tubbing. We went out to dinner at Chilies and told them it was birthday.... close enough at least ;) They gave me the most delicious Cake, covered with white chocolate and Ice Cream! Delicious!!! The shopping was great, I found some good deals...... but I Splurged on a new pair of jeans from Buckle. I pooled all of my birthday money together so Thanks to my Mom and Dad and Cameron's family the jeans were a pretty good deal.
The vacation was over all to quickly, we were then on our way home, but not before stopping at the Beaver Cheese Factory, where we got the FRESHEST cheese curds I have EVER had!!!!! I then drove the last 100 miles home, so I could, as my Dad said "Finish what I started"

Then we have Valenhearts day. Poor Tyson had a cold, so we exchanged gifts and then went out to Dinner at Demai on Monday. Tyson gave me a Snow Patrol CD and Pink Chocolate Chip Pancake mix and Cupcake mix. I got Tyson the first season to "The Big Bang Theory" and some Jucie Boxes.

Amy Beth and I made these special candy sushi's for our Valentines :)
